Chiropractic Care

Initial Exam Special (history, exam and 2 x-rays)  - Cost $49

Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on the relationship between the body's structure and its functioning. There are a variety of  treatment approaches, with the chiropractic adjustments (manipulations) to the spine or other joints with the goal of correcting alignment problems, alleviating pain, improving function, and supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Treatment

Initial visit - a complete health history will be taken and reviewed.  Then, a physical examination will be performed. If  x-rays are appropriate they will be taken in the office with our digital X-ray equipment. If chiropractic treatment is considered appropriate, a treatment plan will be developed and discussed with you.

Follow-up visits -  we may perform adjustments (using a variety of techniques) , perform manual therapies like vibromassage, administer physiotherapies and provide exercise instruction.  The goal is to increase the range and quality of motion in the area being treated,  to aid in restoring health, and to help you get back to the activities you love.

We combine the use of spinal adjustments and other manual therapies with several other treatments and approaches such as:

Heat and ice

Electrical stimulation

Ultrasound

Paraffin bath

Intersegmental traction

Relaxation techniques

Rehabilitative and general exercise

Counseling about diet, weight loss, and other lifestyle factors
